Write for us

We welcome original proposals that make a specific part of practice or skill learning easier to understand. Send your pitch through the Contact page, with enough detail to show the question, the reader and the shape of the piece.

Ideas we welcome

Pitch an explanation of a practice principle, a comparison of learning approaches, a piece of relevant history, an examination of a common assumption or a practical planning article for a clearly defined occasion. Strong ideas stay within general-interest scope and do not depend on claims of guaranteed improvement.

What makes a good pitch

Name the central question, state the main point you hope to make and sketch the examples or sources that will support it. Tell us why the subject suits Lively Training Guide and note any specialist terms that need careful explanation. Proposals should be original and specific, not a list of broad topics.

Sending a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a short outline and a brief note about relevant experience if it helps explain your perspective. Do not send confidential material or assume that a proposal has been accepted until we respond.

Our point of view

Practice is more than repetition

A useful session gives attention somewhere to go. We look at the choices that make learning visible, without promising a quick route to mastery.
